CTN1-63 series Miniature Circuit Breaker (which also called micro circuit breaker) is used in lighting distribution system or motor distribution system for protection overload and short-circuit in the system. This series circuit breakers are neoteric in structure, light in weight, reliable and excellent in performance. Our MCB has high breaking capacity, can trip quickly. and its case and items are adopted by high fire-resistant and shockproof plastics. The product with long life, is mainly used in AC 50Hz/60Hz single phase circuit breaker 230V or two, three, four poles 400V circuit for overload and short-circuit protection as well as for unfrequent on-and-off switching electric equipment and lighting circuit in normal case. CTN1-63 is widely used in photovoltaic grid AC distribution box, and the occasions where people are hard to approach, where maintenance personnel can not arrive in time, unattended occasions, occasions with high power supply continuity requirements.

Characteristic Curve

Thermo-magnetic Release Characteristic Curve of MCB normally have B,C,D curves.

B Curve means the MCB trips between 3-5 times full load current. It is mainly used in residential applications where loads are resistive e.g. lighting fixtures, domestic appliances with low surge Levels.

C Curve means the circuit breaker trips between 5-10 times full load current.

D Curve means the MCB trips between 10-14 times full load current.
