Barrel nut is also named dowel nut.
Normally, it is used on furniture (desk, chair etc.), which is assembling with bolt to connect several parts of the furniture. With this nut, assembling furniture is coming to be easy and interesting.
We can produce both symmetric and un-symmetric barrel nuts, which are with two holes or one hole as per Customer’s demand. As furniture fastener doesn’t have to meet high mechanical requirements, Low carbon steel is the best choice to it. Of course, high level materials to meet customer’s special requirements are available. We also supply the nuts which are made of stainless steel (A2, A4) and aluminum alloy. There are several kinds of head styles for barrel nuts, such as flat slotted, Philips drive, pan head, etc, with any kind as per customer’s requirements.
We can supply full sizes of this product, the popular sizes are M5, M6, M8, M10, threaded in Metric or Inch as per customer’s demands. There are kinds of surface treatment to be supplied, such as Plain, White zinc plated, Blue zinc plated, Yellow zinc plated, Nickle Plated, black zinc plated, which are according to customer’s enquiry. Various package methods are available, such as small box packing (Plastic bag +Box +Carton +Pallet) and bulk packing (Plastic bag + Carton+ Pallet), pallets or wooden cases is available.
It is promised that all these nuts we produced are under the QC control which is 500PPM. For the thread Gauge, usually we promise 6H ( go gauge and no go gauge) to our customers, but some customers have special requirement which is go gauge 6G and no go gauge 6H. With the plating thickness analysis machine, we can assure the plating thickness to our customer who needs special requirement. We have salt spray testing machines to make the inspection in our own Lab.
